New Health Secretary wants your water tinkered with and fast

New ZaNuLiebour Health Secretary Andy Burnham quit as honorary vice-president of the British Fluoridation Society yesterday to avoid damaging claims of a conflict of interest after inquiries were being made by The Times.

It came on the same day as he gave a speech to a NHS conference in which Burnham urged for the speeding of fluoridation of water supplies.

"I feel we've been too timid at times on the public health agenda. So let's press ahead with water fluoridation," he said.

Fluoridation is sold as being beneficial to children's dental care but is opposed by many who see it as non-consensual mass medication.

Britain has a campaign group opposed to water fluoridation and there is vast global opposition to fluoridation with some indicating that it can cause cancer or - on more 'global conspiracy' flavoured websites - be used to sedate the population.
