Corrie's Blanche, Maggie Jones, dies at 75
The Talking Clock was saddened to hear of the death of Coronation Street star Maggie Jones who has died at the age of 75.
Maggie played the soap's comedic battleaxe Blanche Hunt - a role through which she has entertained a great number of people in Britain's favourite soap over a long many years.
Maggie's Corrie co-stars pay tribute to her in a very warm article in The Sun.
Her fabulous on-screen talent will be sadly missed by the millions of fans of Britain's favourite show.

Maggie will be tremendously missed not just for the role of Blanche but as person who's departed this earth. She was wonderful in the role, gave us many a laugh. Maggie, may you rest in peace. Condolences to her family & friends
