The Talking Clock is an opinion based, independently authored, small 'c' conservative, libertarian blog.
"The laws of England are the birthright of the people thereof; and all the kings and queens, who shall ascend the throne of this realm, ought to administer the government of the same according to the said laws; and all their officers and ministers ought to serve them respectively, according to the same."

Have UKIP accidentally found their most powerful party political broadcast message yet?
Now, this blog factored an end to tyranny against the people into our decision to support (and then join) UKIP.
Nigel Farage, Godfrey Bloom and Lord Monckton have all been guests on the pro-freedom, pro-liberty broadcaster Alex Jones' U.S. based globally popular radio show speaking about different aspects of the destruction of democracy and tyrannical Government.
Alex Jones is successfully breaking down the false left-right paradigm in politics, arguing against any party that enacts laws that breach the American constitution and impede on the liberties of the American people.
And, with such big hitters from UKIP being brave enough to speak to Alex Jones and his global audience about issues of freedom, we know they're singing from our song sheet.
So, look at the video (below) that has gone up via the 'ukipwebmaster' YouTube channel. It's actually for the upcoming election in Massachusetts in the U.S.
Now, imagine the exact same advert, translated and adapted to represent the tyranny that the people of Britain are buckling under, courtesy of New Labour.
An advert along those lines - referencing (for example) Habeas Corpus and the Bill of Rights - coupled with a more rational explanation of their position on the European Empire and other issues...
'1688 and all that'. What a campaign that would be!
