IPCC scientist backs Lord Monckton and tells how we're entering a natural mini ice-age
It cites Professor Mojib Latif who is one of the members of the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
He explains how the current cold snap is part of a natural cycle which, the report says, is part of a natural cold spell which will last for 20-30 years.
Much of the explanation given for the conclusions reached by Professor Latif will be familiar to those who have listened to what Lord Christopher Monckton has to say on the matter.
Professor Latif is backed in his argument by Prof Anastasios Tsonis of the University of Wisconsin Atmospheric Sciences Group.
Tsonis is scornful of what the planet has been told about 'man made global warming' and is cited by the newspaper as saying: "I do not trust the computer models which state that if CO2 reaches a particular level then temperatures and sea levels will rise by a given amount. These models cannot be trusted to predict the weather for a week, yet they are running them to give readings for 100 years."
Another of the key bits of information that we now know is also covered by the report, as the hate campaigns against those scientists who dare defy the orthodoxy are laid glaringly open for all to read - just as we learnt was the case through the ClimateGate scandal and just as Lord Monckton has been telling us is the case.
Nobody should be under any pretence here - make a firm memory of the fact that it is 'man made global warming' that was supposed to be bringing about the end of the world. You'll note that they now only speak of 'climate change'. Clever trick in the making, but a trick all the same.
This blogger would like to praise the Daily Mail for having the honesty, integrity and courage to publish the article and to inform it's readership that - despite what you are being told - the science is far from settled.
Indeed, the scientists at the centre of this latest development should also be praised for having the courage to report on their work and findings.
We'd also recommend saving the Daily Mail's article lest, in three months time when the sun shines for a day, anyone should try hiding the decline.
