Labour ploughs on with plans to recruit your children to spy on us all for authorities

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience."
C.S. Lewis, author of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

The Daily Mail reports that a scheme to encourage children to report litter droppers and people with untidy gardens to the authorities is "to be backed by leaflet drops to ten million householders across 130 areas of the country".

'Labour recruits army of child spies' is the headline.

Why can't they leave our children to enjoy the innocence of childhood? Is this why Labour won't let any non-approved adults near anyone under eighteen? Less in case we're all paedophiles and more in case we stop this disgusting Government from brainwashing our kids?

It's a disgrace and an outrage.

Under Thatcher, we had the Raleigh Chopper, the Rubik's Cube, the Atari and Thundercats.

Under New Labour, they have biometric fingerprinting for school dinners, databases of every adult going anywhere near them and recruitment for massive networks of tattle-tale squads.

But what do we expect of New Labour?

Civil liberty smashing, freedom hating, totalitarians.

We've been here before. History repeating.

Here they are - New Labour's latest
'social responsibility unit', ready to
clear up a community near you soon.
