"The laws of England are the birthright of the people thereof; and all the kings and queens, who shall ascend the throne of this realm, ought to administer the government of the same according to the said laws; and all their officers and ministers ought to serve them respectively, according to the same."

European Empire - which fined Nigel Farage €3000 for thought crime - is plotting to bring in a federal prosecutor... Britain impotent.
The Spanish proposal - backed by the French and the Germans - would hand the new power the authority to prosecute across (formerly sovereign) national borders... and would include the new right to grab any of us without our Director of Public Prosecutions or the Crown Prosecution Service having any say or power in the matter.
Initially - according to the report - the new powers would target terrorism and financial crimes affecting the stability of the Euro currency.
And where have we heard all that before?
Anyone like to guess the punishment that might be dished out to a lowly member of the public for criticising their fascist inspired European Empire project?
Sarah Gaskell of Open Europe is quoted by the newspaper as saying: "This is an extremely worrying move for UK citizens, who could face prosecution by a European Public Prosecutor that the UK Government had no hand in setting up. The deeply undemocratic Lisbon Treaty is being used to outsource controls over our justice system to EU institutions, in what is the start of a very worrying trend of judicial creep that could see such a prosecutor’s powers expanded into all manner of areas. This just goes to show that the Government’s so-called 'opt-outs’ from the Lisbon Treaty in justice and home affairs are a totally inadequate safeguard for the UK’s criminal and justice system. A future government needs to fundamentally reform Britain’s participation in EU criminal and justice rules and reclaim much greater control over the legal rights of its citizens."
And - unusually for this blog - it's a positive from a Conservative MP we're going to for initial response.
However, don't panic UKIP supporters... we're not cosying up to a political enemy. Instead, we're looking over to the reaction from Douglas Carswell who, along with Dan Hannan, is one of the two best electoral assets who have still to defect to UKIP - though goodness only knows why (come on, you two!).
Anyway, Douglas has put details of his Private Members Bill which calls for an 'In Out referendum' onto his blogsite and he's openly courting your input.
Just remember folks - he might play for a different political 'club' team from many of this blog's visitors, but Douglas Carswell is still a patriotic member of the England squad...
...unlike most of the rest of the treacherous swines in the 'Westminster Village', with their noses in the trough.
Be constructive and give Douglas your thoughts - and the respect he deserves.
