Why are people using Gumtree to recruit LibDem supporters to take part in YouGov polls?

Strange post on Gumtree spotted today.

Under the heading: "Show your support for the Liberal Democrats on yougov", a poster has then provided a link to the YouGov sign up page.

Curious...

Here's the Gumtree ad:

http://www.gumtree.com/london/85/55211585.html

If you then search Gumtree for 'yougov', you get the following results:

http://www.gumtree.com/cgi-bin/list_postings.pl?search_terms=yougov&posting_cat=2477

A couple of them using the same referral link as the LibDem recruiter noted at the outset of this post have been signed off suggesting it to have been posted by 'M & C Saatchi'. Here's an example:

http://www.gumtree.com/london/79/55190679.html

Now, this blogger has no way of knowing whether these adverts have anything to do with M & C Saatchi, YouGov, or the Liberal Democrats.

There is, for example, absolutely nothing on the Saatchi website indicating that either YouGov or the Liberal Democrats are clients.

But these are very curious posts on Gumtree, no?
