Diana comes back to haunt Bliar, trash his book, and damage his reputation further

Ha ha! The Daily Mail and the Daily Telegraph have wonderful articles shaming Tony Blair over his Princess Diana revelations.

To quote the Daily Telegraph article directly: "Tony Blair's claim that he tackled Princess Diana over her relationship with Dodi Al Fayed has been cast into doubt after it emerged that the Princess had not yet become involved with the Egyptian millionaire at the time of the alleged conversation."

They're all at it - they all use Diana's name and the fact that she's been gone for thirteen years. They all use her, knowing that the number of those of us who remember her accurately gets smaller with each passing year.

It appears that the defender of Diana's reputation on this occasion is Daily Mail writer Richard Kay - the journalist who Diana trusted most. Nice to see Mr. Kay honouring that friendship with a brilliant, rebutting article. Bravo!

That's Blair's book trashed already.

On this blog, we had a few things to say about Blair deciding he wanted to discuss Diana - a lady who, regular visitors know, we hold in very high regard. We'll fight 'til the end to defend her memory.

In his attempt to milk her name for his own self-gratifying agenda, this further public shaming of Blair's honesty and integrity is a huge bite on the bum.

And somewhere, watching over her boys from above, is Diana - witnessing how this attempt to use her name has backfired on Blair and laughing in that beautifully infectious way of hers.
