Say 'pants!' to the airport naked body scanners

Don't want your genitals photographed by pervy airport body scanning machines?

Well, a U.S. firm has a product designed to protect your modesty!

It's underwear made of special fibres and materials that (quote):

- Protect from increased radiation while flying at high altitudes.
- Blocks/diminish Alpha and Beta radiation.
- Blocks/diminish T-Wave/Tera hertz radiation from remote strip cameras.
- Blocks/diminish X-ray/gamma radiation from back scatter x-ray machines.
- Insures privacy of medical and body scanner images

Of course, if you actually wear these, we cannot guarantee that you won't be refused your flight or subject to a physical naked body search, but there you go...

The idea of countering those pervy cameras with some special pants is, at least, a humorous, thought-provoking, and potentially empowering one.

Your genitals, your choice..?

Though we don't think totalitarians will like it...

Press release:

Rocky Flats Gear ™ makes its world wide introduction on the Alex Jones show this Friday, 3 September 2010! Worldwide deployment of x-ray based, whole body strip search was accelerated by the timely firecracker incident in December of 2009. We feel this knee jerk reaction will put millions at increased cancer risks years from now. After many months of product design, development and testing, at Rocky Flats Gear ™, we are offering to the public our innovative radiation absorbing undergarments.

New back-scatter digital strip search machines are being installed at a rate of about one hundred per month around the world, operating at energies (60,000 to 100,000V) similar to that of chest x-rays. We are repeatedly assured that the images are not saved, viewing is done by same sex personnel, images are not detailed, the dose is small, and the radiation is not penetrating, and all of this this is for your safety. With huge equipment contracts at stake, little wonder paid expert after expert are trotted out to put us at ease. TSA/DHS has a poor track record of being honest with the public that they serve.

We and many radiation professionals, medical doctors and the informed public are correctly concerned about the well known health risks of high energy, ionizing radiation exposure. Mass irradiation of the public for a non-medical procedure is unprecedented and represents a cancer time bomb years from now, particularly with children. The anxiety of not knowing when your detailed image will surface on the internet, or not knowing who is looking at your children or if you will
At the moment, whole body scanners are optional but, plans have been announced to make them mandatory. We read everyday of a scanner being installed at a school or a courthouse near you. Simultaneously, terahertz (t-wave) remote strip cameras are being deployed from the streets of London to a sports arena or a mall near you. There's no money for books in the library, but plenty for cameras, scanners and surveillance equipment, we feel this is a trend in the wrong direction.
This obsession with surveillance has put our health at risk, and is overly invasive. The equipment is dangerous to not only the public, but the operators' health. The security benefits are dubious at best and inconsistent with free societies.

Lousy airline meals, poor customer service and friendly security personnel made you stop flying? Just when you thought it could not get crazier, they will bring the x-rays to you. Law enforcement, US and other governments have purchased more than 500 extremely powerful mobile backscatter x-ray vans made by American Science & Engineering that look into cars, homes, buses and truck and may be driving past you as you are reading this.

Our products offer medical personnel, flight crews, security personnel and the traveling public a practical radiation shielding undergarment. Preserve your health, privacy and dignity with our patent pending nano-technology shielding material, securely bonded to high quality American made garments. Machine washable and comfortable, our product is designed for everyday use and/or extended air travel. To learn more and to purchase, please visit www.rockyflatsgear.com.
