The UK: Spanish banks, French energy companies... and now we have German rail networks
We have no issue with the PEOPLE of Europe at all.
The people of European nations are under the thumb of the same globalist totalitarians who have no regard for democracy as we are currently subservient to.
However, the gradual Europeanisation of our once proud, green and pleasant land continues apace.
The Spanish have taken over half of our banks (how did that happen, when the Spanish economy is FCUK-ed?); the French own most of our energy companies (and our gas is shipped in from Russia)...
And now the Germans are taking over our rail network.
AFP reports that: "Deutsche Bahn has won European Union approval for its purchase of the British company Arriva for 1.8 billion euros."
Not content with that, but they're also trialing running German trains through the Channel Tunnel.
Now, you might argue that's a good thing. Who wouldn't want to whisk themselves off to Berlin, Frankfurt or Cologne direct from London - without the degradation of Heathrow and Gatwick?
How could anyone run a rail network as hopelessly horrendous as our own?
So, it really is an issue that we have mixed feelings over.
But based on the self-evident position of our nation being slowly, stealthily and wholesale cannibalised, we did something about it.
Yes, while everyone else was speculating on William Hague's sex life, we were down in Folkestone at the entrance to the Channel Tunnel.
