Congrats to Paul Nuttall, UKIP's new Deputy Leader

The Talking Clock would like to congratulate Paul Nuttall MEP on his appointment as new UKIP Deputy Leader.

We were a little disappointed when Paul discounted running for the leadership as we thought he was an excellent option for members to consider for the job.

That he then announced he was standing down as Chairman was completely stunning... and quite a disappointment.

So, we're very pleased indeed to hear that he has been appointed to his new role and wish to congratulate him and wish him well in the challenges ahead.

One of the great things that Paul does which everyone could take note of is to communicate. He posts his thoughts on his blog almost every single day, which builds up a relationship between him and the wider public.

He also discusses local issues a great deal which is something that UKIP needs to do more of in order to appear relevant to normal people and their lives.

All in all, an excellent appointment.
