Don't tell me... it's so hot, it's snowing
Really?
Must be all that balmy, hot, global warming that we're all being taxed to death in the name of.
Let me guess... there's a difference between 'weather' and 'climate'.
And it's totally logical that the hotter it gets, the more it's gonna snow.
And the quickest route from Birmingham to Manchester is down the M1, across the English Channel, and back up the other side via Australia. Of course. Common sense. Everybody knows that.
"I'm dreaming of a white Christmas, just like the ones I used to know" sang Bing.
Well, there we go. Everything is back to normal.
Can we stop being relieved of a fortune in 'climate change' taxes now, then?
Or worse still, having weird people decide we must undergo WWII style food rationing in order to save the planet.
And, it's now abundantly clear, we don't need any global government to save us from normal weather that is now "just like the ones I used to know".
We just need a snow plough and a few gritters.
Not that any councils can afford them - after a combination of the European Union, banker bailouts and dodgy climate science relieved us all of every last penny.

Ironic isn't it? The more money people pay the worse society gets and yet no one does anything about it. LOL
ReplyDeleteI remember growing up in Dundee when I was younger, especially in the 70's when it used to get really cold. I remember weeks of snow and yet society never stopped. There were snow ploughs, gritters & sanders council workers out on the streets sweeping the snow of the streets. There was no council tax then, a better police force, less tax, more fags and beer for the pound.....
This is reality people pay more and life gets worse.

ReplyDeleteThat made me chuckle.
By the way, has it been quiet in the MSM about this jolly up in Cancun or what (compared to the hysteria of the last decade)?
Anyone'd think it was a scam...
