Has the Archbishop of Canterbury (and all women) seen today's Sky News report on Sharia Law?
He may wish to reconsider that position further today after - unusually in this ultra-politically correct era - Sky News has screened, and continues to screen, footage which "has emerged of a woman being publicly whipped in Sudan for wearing trousers."
The report details how: "The victim was punished under Sharia law for wearing trousers under her Islamic clothing" and the footage "shows her crawling on the ground, raising her arm to try to ward off the attacks and screaming as the whip strikes."
See Tim Marshall's full report including the disturbing video footage HERE.
After watching that footage, can any of us really say that we would welcome Sharia Law in Britain? If that's what my sister, my mother, and my female friends might have to look forward to, then no thanks.
