British 'Democracy' in Action: Ken Clarke says prisoners will get vote, no matter if Members of Parliament go against ECHR ruling

You've got to laugh, really.

EU-loving Ken 'Bilderberg' Clarke has pre-empted the vote in the House of Commons tomorrow which will decide what is to be done - if anything - to allow prison inmates to vote at elections.

The Daily Telegraph quotes him as telling BBC Radio Four's Today programme: "We are grasping the nettle. We are going to comply with our obligations. We are going to do the minimum necessary to comply with the ruling. Some of them are going to get the vote, but probably as few as we can. The Prime Minister accepts like everybody that Government complies with its legal obligations."

It's utterly hilarious (though twisted).

An elected Parliament of 650 MPs, having a 144 year law declared out of order by the European Court of Human Rights. Six years later, MPs vote on what to do about the ruling and - the day before they bother - Ken 'Bilderberg' Clarke says that the Government is going to comply with the ruling anyway.

That's it. Enough.

Parliament at Westminster is redundant. Close the entire bloody lot down, mothball it else use it as a museum.

With most of our laws being dictated to us by the European Union, and now this little gem via Ken 'Bilderberg' Clarke, there really is no point in the House of Commons anymore.

Close it down and save the taxpayer the ruddy money.

Oh dear... I'm going to be laughing at how ridiculously stupid this notion of democracy has all become for the rest of today, I suspect.

P.S. And one last thing. About the 'Bilderberg' bit. Don't accuse me of being a conspiracy nutter.

It's actually even on the Parliament website that he is a Bilderberg scumbag. And Tony Blair. Who went two years before becoming Prime Minister, oddly enough...
