Croatia gets a taste of EU fascism: Arrests as demonstrators attempt to take down the EU flag

Absent from most of our media, it is to RT's reporter Tom Barton that we are hugely grateful for 'tweeting' news of scuffles between anti-EU demonstrators and police in Zagreb today.

According to his account, protesters - gathered on the eve of a referendum on Croatian EU accession - chanted "we don't want another Yugoslavia".

Six people were arrested as they attempted to tear down the EU flag, according to reports - with photographs - here and here.

All just a little bit of history repeating. We have warned you.

We're trying to monitor developments in Croatia and will update you on anything else we find.
