Dear Gibraltar: 'Hain'... it's Turkish for 'traitor', don't you know?
Lo and behold, what does Google Translate tell me is the Turkish word for 'traitor'..?
Apparently, it's 'hain'.
Which is quite funny, as 'traitor' is what the people of Gibraltar have been calling former Labour minister Peter Hain and his ex-boss - the mega-rich Tony Blair - this week, following the revelations from Hain himself on how Labour wanted to surrender the sovereignty of Gibraltar to Spain in order to curry favour with the European Union.
The account is quite astonishing, further proving that the political elites have utter contempt for the people of ANYWHERE. Despite the people of Gibraltar having their views well known, the Labour hierarchy was more than happy to sell them down the river to ingratiate themselves with the EU and their globalist puppetmasters.
Not that we have a problem with Spain - if anything, this blogger is a complete Spanglophile. Love the country, the culture, the people.
However, the people of Gibraltar have a three hundred year history case upon which to base their arguments about sovereignty. It is not up to some tosser from Islington, South Africa or Brussels to decide this for them.
Yet again... I mean, this is Labour - the party that went off to sign the Lisbon Treaty against the people of the UK's wishes; most certainly against England's wishes.
That's why smug, grinning Cheshire Cat David Miliband - Marx(ist) Brother D - sat there, in full smug grinning mode when committing his act of betrayal... closely followed by the dribbling slug that is Gordon Brown, who knew that what he was doing was against the people's wishes; knowledge of his contempt for their views inducing in him another display of the Phantom Grimace.
Utter total bastards, the lot of them - feathering their own nests by trashing our laws, customs and sovereignty.
If Elizabeth the First were on the throne, they would be admitted to The Tower of London via the River.
Say what you like about Scotland's Alex Salmond... at least he's putting Scottish independence to a referendum. We in England will never get the privilege.
